Dido – Don’t Believe in Love

Menos de una semana (el lunes 17 de noviembre) es lo que queda para poder disfrutar de Safe Trip Home. Llevo tanto tiempo leyendo sobre él, escuchando algunas de sus canciones,… que ya ni sé realmente la reacción que voy a tener cuando lo tenga en mis manos. Solo sé que necesito tenerlo ya. Poder escucharlo entero, en el orden en el que están las canciones (el orden está especialmente cuidado), con los cascos a tope, tumbado en la cama con los ojos cerrados, invadido por una voz que me relaja tanto, a la vez que me conmueve.

Hacia mucho que no sentía estas ansias por tener un album. Pero es que Dido me teletransporta a otro mundo. Me entiende. O yo la entiendo a ella. No lo sé. Solo sé que sus canciones se adaptan a mí como anillo al dedo. Y no me refiero a las letras, que alguna también. Me refiero a la música. Las melodías. La voz. La intensidad. La falta de intensidad. La emotividad. Los instrumentos. Todo.

No puedo esperar.

Ya ha empezado la promoción del disco en EEUU, y entre otros ha ido al programa de Jay Leno, donde ha cantado su single Don’t Believe in Love.
